Trail sacred forest - Rules and Regulations
Art. 1 ORGANIZATION
The ASD BADIA PRATAGLIA 2001 with the support of the Pro Loco Badia Prataglia, in collaboration with A.S.D. Trail Running Project, with the patronage of the CSI AREZZO organises for Sunday 29 May 2022 the eighth edition of the TRAIL SACRED FORESTS, a Trail Running race, a long-distance race in nature, in semi-self-sufficiency.
The race is valid for the Valli Aretine Trail Cup.
Art. 2 ACCEPTANCE OF RULES
Il Trail Sacred Forests si svolgerà in conformità al presente regolamento, alle eventuali modifiche ed agli avvisi che saranno pubblicati nel sito web www.trailsacredforests.com e sulla pagina facebook Trail Sacred Forests.
I concorrenti sono inoltre tenuti al rispetto del codice della strada, in particolare nei tratti in cui il tracciato attraversa la viabilità ordinaria, che non sarà chiusa al traffico veicolare.
La partecipazione al Trail Sacred Forests comporta da parte dei concorrenti iscritti l’accettazione senza riserve del presente regolamento, in tutte le sue parti.
Con l’iscrizione ogni concorrente si impegna a rispettare questo regolamento e libera gli organizzatori da ogni responsabilità civile o penale per qualsiasi eventuale incidente o accidente, per danni a persone o cose a lui derivati o dasé causati, che possano verificarsi durante la manifestazione.
Art. 3 GENERAL INFORMATIONS
The Sacred Forests Trail is a Trail Running Event (Nature/Mountain Running) along the paths of the National Park
of the Casentino Forests, Monte Falterona and Campigna, participants may choose during registration the distance between:
- LONG TRAIL 50 KM 3.000 D+
- TRAIL 25 KM 1.500 D+
- SHORT TRAIL 14 KM 800 D+
All distances are semi-self-sufficient.
Art. 4 PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
The “RUN TRAIL” can participate Athletes aged 18 and over in possession of a
Sports Medical Certificate for the "LIGHT ATHLETICS" competitive activity valid for the day of the race.
Athletes will not be accepted who are serving bans for the use of doping substances.
Art. 5 SEMI-SELF-SUFFICIENCY
La gara è in semi-autosufficienza idrica e alimentare. Dei posti di ristoro saranno approvvigionati di cibo ed acqua potabile.
No plastic cups will be available at any of the refreshment posts; to drink, runners must provide themselves with a glass
o altro contenitore personale adatto all'uso. Each runner must ensure that he/she has, at the start of each refreshment post
the required minimum amount of water and sufficient food reserve, which he will need to arrive at the next refreshment post.
Art. 6 REGISTRATION METHOD
Registrations will open on 23 January 2023 and will close on 22 May 22. In any case, registrations will come
in any case closed when the maximum number of:
- - 300 registered for the 50km Long Trail
- - 400 registered for the 25km Trail
- - 350 registered for the 14km Short Trail.
In the event that registrations are closed for reaching the maximum number well in advance it is
the organizer has the right to establish a waiting list for the acceptance of further registrations in the face of
any waivers, in the manner that will be communicated if necessary on the website www.trailsacredforests.com and
on the Trail Sacred Forests facebook page.
The organization reserves the right to assign wild cards even exceeding the maximum number of athletes
admitted at its sole discretion. Registrations must be made exclusively online with
payment by credit card through the appropriate link on the official website of the race
www.trailsacredforests.com or directly on the website www.enternow.it.
and the competitor will not be able to take part in the race, without the right to any refund of the registration fee.
Art. 7 REGISTRATION FEESThe registration costs will be in three brackets

- LONG TRAIL 50 KM: 45 EURO
- TRAIL 25 KM: 25 EURO
- SHORT TRAIL 14 KM: 15 EURO
From 6 March 23 to 25 April 23
- LONG TRAIL 50 KM: 50 EURO
- TRAIL 25 KM: 30 EURO
- SHORT TRAIL 14 KM: 15 EURO
From 26 April 2023 to 25 May 2023
- LONG TRAIL 50 KM: 55 EURO
- TRAIL 25 KM: 35 EURO
- SHORT TRAIL 14 KM: 20 EURO
Registration format and payment method available on the TDS platform. The registration fee includes:
- Race bib
- Healthcare along the route
- Refreshments along the route and end of the race
- Race pack with technical and / or food products
- Finisher Medal
- Pasta party (if the covid situation and the local health authority allow it, otherwise a food bag)
Art. 8 REFUND OF REGISTRATION FEES
In case of cancellation of participation after regular registration, for any reason: - it is not foreseen in any
in case of reimbursement of the registration fee, - the transfer of the bib from one competitor to another is not foreseen, -
there is no provision for moving the registration to the next edition.
Art. 9 COMPULSORY / STRONGLY RECOMMENDED MATERIAL
By registering, each runner signs the commitment to bring all the material
with them mandatory listed below during the entire race, under penalty of disqualification.
The mandatory material can be checked at the bib collection, departure, arrival and in locations in
surprise along the way. (based on the forecast weather conditions for the day of the race, the list of material
mandatory may be modified): - Race bib clearly visible throughout the race for all races
(along the way there will be more bib checkpoints, make sure the control officers have
checked your passage, under penalty of disqualification) - Mobile phone (loaded, with the security numbers saved in the address book)
- Water bottle or Camelbak or glass (you won't find plastic glasses at the refreshment points) - Thermal blanket (only for
Long Trail 50 km 3.000d + and Trail 25km 1.500d +) - Whistle (only for Long Trail 50 km 3.000 d + and Trail
25km 1.500d +) - Headlamp working with recharging batteries (only for Trail of 50 km 3.000 d +)
STRONGLY RECOMMENDED - At least 1/2 liter of liquids - Windproof jacket - Solid substances from
eat - Trail Shoes (presumably wet and sometimes slippery trails, Trail Shoes

Art. 10 BIB WITHDRAWAL AND RACE PACKAGE
It is possible to collect the bib / race pack on Saturday 28 May 2022 (recommended) from 15.00 to 22.00 and Sunday
morning until 1 hour before the start of the race in which the athlete will participate.
Art. 11 SAFETY AND MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
An emergency call post is established in correspondence with the refreshment points. These places are connected by radio or via
telephone with the race direction. Ambulances, civil protection and doctors will be present on the territory. The seats of
rescue are intended to bring assistance to all people in danger with the organization's own means or
through affiliated organizations. Official doctors are authorized to suspend competitors deemed unsuitable for
continue the race. Rescuers are authorized to evacuate by all means of their convenience the runners judged in
danger. In case of need, for reasons that are in the interest of the rescued person, only and exclusively to
in the opinion of the organization, an appeal will be made to the official rescue, which will take over the direction of operations and
will deploy all appropriate means, including the helicopter. Any costs arising from the use of these
exceptional means will be borne by the rescued person according to the regulations in force. A runner who appeals to a
doctor or a rescuer submits himself to his authority and undertakes to respect his decisions.
Art. 12 CHECKPOINT AND REFUELING POINTS
The detection of competitors is carried out at all checkpoints or refreshment points. Only runners with bibs

Art. 13 MAXIMUM TIME, TIMETABLE GATES, RETREATS AND RESTAURANTS
LONG TRAIL 50 Km - 3.000D+ - 11 hours and 30 minutes
TRAIL 25 Km – 1.500 D+ - 5 hours e 30 minutes

LONG TRAIL 50 KM – 3.000 D+:
- Ridracoli Dam 25 Km 5 hours of competition.
TRAIL 25 Km - 1.500 D+

Competitors who do not arrive within the established time limits will be stopped and will not be able to continue
the race. To protect the health of the participants, the medical staff present at the checkpoints or along the
route is enabled to stop the competitor who will not be judged suitable for the continuation of the race. In
in this case, the competitor must follow the instructions of the medical staff, under penalty of immediate disqualification. I
competitors who arrived at the gates after the time limit, the injured, those who will be judged by the
medical personnel not suitable to continue the race, and other athletes who wish to withdraw voluntarily,
they will be accompanied on arrival by a shuttle service. Any competitor who withdraws from the race out
from the pre-established points, he will have to return on his own account, immediately communicating his withdrawal via
telephone or sms to the number indicated by the organization. In case of failure to communicate a withdrawal and the
consequent start of the runner's searches, any resulting expenses will be charged to the runner himself. Foods
and refreshment drinks must be consumed only on site; it is forbidden to drink directly from the bottles of
refreshments, the waste must be thrown into the appropriate containers. Runners must have the right amount of water
and food necessary to get to the next refreshment point. Upon arrival there will be an additional refreshment.
WEATHER FORECAST:In the event of significant weather phenomena (dense fog, snowstorms, severe thunderstorms), the organization will
reserves the right to make changes to the route, even at the last minute or during the course of the race, in order to
eliminate potential dangers or conditions of great discomfort for the participants. Any changes will be communicated
to the participants and reported by the staff. The organization also reserves the right to suspend or cancel the race,
delay the departure, change the route or change the time gates in case the weather conditions
put at risk the safety of participants, volunteers or rescuers.

Art. 14 DISQUALIFICATIONS AND PENALTIES
The immediate disqualification is foreseen, with the withdrawal of the race bib, for the following infringements: - failure to pass from a
checkpoint - departure from a checkpoint after the time barrier - cut of the race course - missed
compliance with the prohibition of being accompanied along the route - abandonment of waste on the route - failure to help a
competitor in difficulty - insults or threats to organizers or volunteers - use of means of transport in the race - refusal to
to undergo the control of the medical staff on the route - refusal to undergo the control of the mandatory material,
for the lack of even a single point of the mandatory material - use of personal assistance outside the
points allowed - abandonment of own material along the route - pollution or degradation of the place by a competitor or
by a member of her staff - insults, rudeness or threats against members of the organization or volunteers -

Art. 16 IMAGE RIGHTS
By registering, competitors authorize the organization to use free, without territorial and time limits, of

Art. 17 DECLARATION OF LIABILITY AND CONSENT
For anything not indicated, the FIDAL Regulations apply. Voluntary registration and consequent participation in the

objective, resulting from his participation in the event. The Participant gives consent to the treatments
specified in the information, authorizing the sending of information material relating to subsequent events or various
initiatives proposed by the organizers and authorizes any photographic and cinematographic shooting for the
creation of videos, bulletin boards, publication in print and web (including download).
Art. 18 ANNULMENT
In case of cancellation of the race due to force majeure, up to 15 days before the event, the Organization will
reserves the right to reimburse a percentage equal to 50% of the registration fee paid. This percentage is justified by the
multiple expenses that the Organization has already carried out and that does not
can recover. In case of interruption or cancellation of the race for weather reasons, or for any other reason
independent of the Organization, no refunds will be due to participants.
Art. 19 ATHLETE WITH DOG
In case the athlete decides to do the race accompanied by one or more four-legged friends, it is mandatory that they are
leash, to allow the total safety of the athletes and the animals themselves.
Art. 20 ANTI COVID-19 REGULATIONS
